These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Intern Pierre – Luxury Intelligence (“Intern Pierre,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a publication hosted on the Substack platform (the “Publication”).

By accessing, subscribing to, or purchasing any content from Intern Pierre, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms, including the arbitration agreement and jury trial waiver described below.

If you do not agree, do not access or subscribe to the Publication.

1. Relationship to Substack

Intern Pierre is published via Substack, Inc. (“Substack”). Substack provides the infrastructure for subscriptions, payments, email delivery, and account management.

Your use of the Publication is subject to:

• These Terms, and

• Substack’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

Where conflicts exist, these Terms govern your relationship with Intern Pierre, and Substack’s terms govern your relationship with Substack.

2. Subscription Access & License

2.1 Grant of Limited License

Upon subscribing (free or paid), Intern Pierre grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access and read content solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

No ownership rights are transferred.

2.2 Paid Content Restrictions

Paid content includes, but is not limited to:

• Subscriber-only articles

• PDFs, transcripts, research notes, or downloadable materials

• Paywalled emails or posts

• Any content labeled “paid,” “subscriber-only,” or similar

Paid content may not be shared, forwarded, reproduced, redistributed, republished, uploaded, or otherwise disseminated — in whole or in part — without prior written consent from Intern Pierre.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Forward paid articles or emails to non-subscribers

• Upload paid content to Slack, WhatsApp, Discord, Telegram, Reddit, X, LinkedIn, or similar platforms

• Share screenshots, excerpts, PDFs, or transcripts of paid content

• Use paid content for internal firm distribution, investment committees, classrooms, or newsletters without authorization

• Circumvent paywalls or access controls

• Use the content to create competing or derivative products

4. Financial Penalties for Unauthorized Sharing

4.1 Liquidated Damages

You acknowledge that unauthorized distribution of paid content causes real but difficult-to-quantify financial harm, including lost subscription revenue, reputational damage, and dilution of proprietary research.

Accordingly, you agree to the following liquidated damages, which are not a penalty but a reasonable pre-estimate of harm:

• €1,500 per unauthorized recipient to whom paid content is forwarded, shared, or made accessible

• €5,000 minimum per violation, regardless of the number of recipients

• €25,000 per instance for institutional, commercial, or firm-wide distribution

Intern Pierre reserves the right to pursue actual damages instead where they exceed the amounts above.

4.2 Additional Remedies

Unauthorized sharing may also result in:

• Immediate termination of your subscription without refund

• Permanent ban from future subscriptions

• Legal action seeking injunctive relief

• Recovery of attorneys’ fees and enforcement costs

5. Intellectual Property

All content published by Intern Pierre — including text, research, analysis, branding, and visual materials — is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

“Intern Pierre” and “Intern Pierre – Luxury Intelligence” are proprietary identifiers.
No license is granted to use trademarks, logos, or branding without express written permission.

6. No Investment, Legal, or Financial Advice

All content is provided for informational and educational purposes only.

Nothing published by Intern Pierre constitutes:

• Investment advice

• Legal advice

• Accounting or tax advice

• A recommendation to buy or sell any security

You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions.

7. Termination

Intern Pierre may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms

• Abuse of paid content

• Conduct harmful to the Publication or its subscribers

Termination does not relieve you of liability for violations occurring prior to termination.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Publication is provided “as is” and “as available.”

Intern Pierre makes no warranties regarding:

• Accuracy or completeness of content

• Availability or uninterrupted access

• Fitness for any particular purpose

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Intern Pierre shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

• Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Intern Pierre in the prior 12 months

10. Arbitration Agreement (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)

10.1 Binding Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Publication shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration, rather than in court.

Arbitration shall be:

• Conducted on an individual basis

• Administered by a recognized arbitration body

• Held in English

10.2 Waiver of Jury Trial

BY AGREEING TO THESE TERMS, YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY.

You understand that arbitration:

• Replaces the right to go to court

• Limits discovery and appeal rights

10.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree that:

• Claims may be brought only in your individual capacity

• No class actions, collective actions, or representative proceedings are permitted

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws apply.

12. Changes to These Terms

Intern Pierre may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Publication after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
